Beneficial Insects

These very small insects are a type of Assassin bugs. They're beneficial insects, biological pest control.  They use their long tube, called rostrum, to inject a lethal saliva that liquefies the insides of a prey, which are then sucked out.  They feed mostly on unwanted bugs.  Keep them as pets in your garden ...but they don't need petting.

When I made this macro (close close-up) photograph, and opened it later on the computer screen, I saw the reason why I like so much this unique way of capturing nature. You discover things that can't be seen with the naked eye. Therefore, declaring, as King David said, the glory of God.



Anhinga

This baby Anhinga is feeding itself by taking the food from inside its mother's throat, wile the father, in the back, enjoys an afternoon nap.

A monkey is suppose to be ugly. OK, but ... that's ridiculous.
